Hey everyone! Listen, I know it has been sooo long, but I needed some REST. School was crazy, and my We The Church Series on my Youtube channel had taken up so much of my attention. If you haven't checked it out yet, head over to my channel (Bond with Christ) and let me know what you think! I am so excited and glad to be back on here writing to encourage not only you all, but also myself.
This is my first post of the new year! So with that being said, I want to encourage you all to rise up and run your race. Get on fire for God. Seek Him while He may still be found. There is no time to waste. When we come to realize how little control we have, this will begin to make more sense to us. Regardless of how diligently I watch my diet, work out, take the proper social distancing precautions, I do not have the ability to know when God will call me home, nor do I know when He will come back to redeem His own. So I want to encourage you all to rise up! On the first day of this year, I was in prayer with God, and He revealed to me that it was in 2020 that He tapped me and gave me the will to answer by taking the scales from my eyes. It was in 2020 that He equipped me with the tools that I need to prosper in His perfect will. But 2021 is the time for me to move and work my faith.
This year, it is time to apply, it’s time to act, it’s time to move, it's time to work, it's time to fully operate in the gifts that God has bestowed upon us, it's time to walk boldly and confidently in God, it's time for us to fully trust in God, it's time for us to press on, tis time for us to rest our hope fully upon Jesus Christ, it's time for us to be anxious for nothing, it's time for us to receive and embrace God’s perfect peace that surpasses ALL understanding. It is time! It is time! It is time!
If you have grown lazy with your prayers and devotion, rise back up, and give God your all. If you have felt far from God, ask yourself, “Who moved?” We don’t serve a God that is far off, but One that is very near at hand. “Never will I leave you, nor forsake you,” He has promised us. It is God that will go before us and fight for us. So let us not grieve the Holy Spirit, with whom we have been sealed until the day of redemption, but let us press on as we forget the things that are behind, and reach forward to those things which are ahead.
My brothers and sisters, now is the time for us to seek God like we have never sought Him before. If we are in Christ, we are a new creation; old things have passed away, and all things have become new. Let us not carry on in the same sinful lifestyle in which we were once ensnared by, but let us walk in the newness of life that God has predestined for us since the beginning. If we love Jesus, let us live for Him. Let all that we do be unto the glory of God.
Romans 11:11-13 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. (12) The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (13) Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in strife and envy. (14) But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.
